3 Fave Dog-Friendly West End Cafés

You know when you’ve been binge-watching Netflix for so long that it actually checks you’re still there? Me too. I try to break up my day with outings to local cafés so I can pretend I do something with my life other than snooze... Here are my 3 go-to places!

BLACK PINE COFFEE CO

A recent addition to Great Western Road, Black Pine is set to become a classic. Located next door to Badlands Barbers, the café promises a relaxed atmosphere, excellent coffee and inspirational quotes - not to forget the delicious cakes I can always smell! Whether I’m playing with the owner, Pete, or his own Frenchie, Bronson, I can always be sure to receive loads of love when I chill here, no bamboozles.

IL CAPUCCINO

Il Cap is famous for its grilled sandwiches, moreish cakes and quick service. It has recently undergone renovations and is now even cosier inside, meaning I find it very easy to fall asleep under the table (this also happens to be the best spot for catching falling scooby snacks, just sayin'). The whole place smells yummy and although my humans don’t tend to share their paninis with me (how rude), I’ve become pretty adept at hoovering crumbs off the floor at lightning speed, so I can vouch for the tastiness of the food.

COTTONRAKE BAKERY

The delicious smell of freshly baked bread wafting out of Cottonrake Bakery is always a highlight of my morning walks… Be it a takeaway coffee or a sit-in snack, the Bakery is bound to have something you'll love. Known for its white chocolate tarts, pastries and sausage rolls, it’s always teeming with people and doggos alike, so even when we don't sit in I'm always sure to find a snoot worth booping!
